Hello from Germany
After I installed OS&programs again a lot of Sites that worked previously are now blocked in IE9 (e.g.: firepass01.sczn.de Security status: inknown ) while dozens of other people could connect to without problem (and I did until yesterday. So it seems to be more a local problem rather a general - what could I do to change settings (even putting it under secure/trusted sites in IE doesn't help).
Thanks & Best,
Volker
Solved! Go to Solution.
Individual sites can be added to the Authorize list. Sites in the authorize list with an unknown rating do no get blocked.
Client can also change the default action for the Zero Day Protection setting in the General policy to Allow or Warn on unknown sites.
Hello Volker,
What version of SAE are you using?
With SAE, it is possible to exclude good websites that are blocked.
Please show us the error message.

Hi Willson,
I am just the "poor" user - 3.5.0 1121
and as said before reinstall all Sites were fine on same notebook, same OS Win7 - and for sure >30 people are using the same link every day as I did until today.

This site is blocked.

Access to this site was blocked because McAfee Threat Intelligence could not analyze their content.
McAfee Security Rating: Unknown
Same is e.g. with http://www.cbt24.de http://www.wbt24.de - two blog rolls from me
Thanks & Best,
Volker

Thanks Willson,
I will send this to our HelpDesk - but I wonder why this happens just to my brand new installed machine and to no one else after working fine for months...
Cheers,
Volker
This happens only on computer with Site Advisor 3.5 Patch2 (SAE 3.5.0 1121)
In fact, it is a new feature added in Site Advisor 3.5 Patch2 (SAE 3.5.0 1121)
So, I don't think that the computers not affected have this version of site advisor.
You can check those computers to confirm.
Hi volker, please don't forget to mark the case as resolved.
I hope it is the solution as I urgently need access to this Site - so I will do 🙂
I forwarded it and will post an Update.
Thanks again
