    Configure Multiple Sites for Travel

I have 7 sites all running Windows 2003\XP.

I have a single ePO server with Distributed Repositories (DR) at each site. I have configured so each site only have the Local Respository enabled. However for users with laptops that travel from site to site I want them to choose the local server to update from and not go across the WAN to pull down the updates from their home site.

At one time I enabled all DR for all sites, then used used choose subnet distance, but found that even after a Remote Replication occurred, the clients would only attempt to contact the ePO server directly.

How can I find out (or what can I compare) to see why the clients are not going to their local subnet?
