Do not ever check auto-renewal.
If that is so contact them, You must have had a subscription once and never deactivated the auto renewal
That's why it pays to read the Terms of Service or contract that everyone has to click and usually ignores when first subscribing to any software. Customers can turn it off at any time.
Also always check your bank accounts and credit card bills carefully.
Customer Service will refund the most recent charge if you call them within a reasonable period.
I use to always disable my Auto Renewal settings about 30 days before expiration. Then call in just before it was due to expire,and could get a negotiated price. Quite often being Half the cost of the normal subscription cost.
One also has to keep in mind, that if you do not have your Auto Renewal Settings enabled. Your *McAfee Pledge* will not be honored. You simply have to make sure that it is should you need to take advantage of the (Free) Virus removal.
On re-reading the first post I think the header would have been better if it said "Uncheck Auto-Renewal For McAfee Subscriptions" - as it is already checked.
But the OP may mean "go and look at the settings....." - the word "check" has more than one meaning.
