A file that is associated with the auto-update procedure of our application was marked as a Trojan by McAfee. The user triggers our auto-update process (managed with TrueUpdate), and after the user clicks next on the first screen it downloads the latest version of our update scripts and then runs them to update the application. One of those files, desktop_update.ts3, is being flagged by the on-access scanner.

I submitted the file to McAfee labs, Analysis ID 10303506.
