Are you connecting through the console, or RDP?
If using the console, this may be a problem and I cannot help you further.
If using RDP, ensure you are connecting to the console session (session 0). If you still cannot see it, what happens when you run a cmdagent /s? Does the agent icon appear? If so, you may have the same problem I do. I submitted a support ticket, still waiting on an answer though.
I am running CMA 18.104.22.1688, however.
Thanks for fast response.
I connect throught console, so RDP connection is not my problem. When i execute the command cmdagent /S, icon system does not appears but window properties agent is showed.
I´ll open a ticket with Mcafee support to check the issue.
Is UdaterUI.exe running? If not, browse down to the agent install directory and double click it.
Maybe worth a re-check, but do verify that the settings you are viewing checking is indeed for Servers not the Workstation.
Sorry for delay but i was on holidays :)

Yes, this service are running ok.

The tab selected is server.
I created a new policy for agent as mcafee support requested, but the issue persists. I have to open a issue again because for holidays, Mcafee closed my ticket.
Is it perhaps a 64 bit machine?
MA 4.0 P1 release notes says: The McAfee Security single tray icon does not appear on 64-bit systems.
I run it on several 64 bit systems, both 2k3, vista and 2k8 and are experiencing this.
They are 32bits OS.
Any update on this? I'm having the same problem on only one server. The other servers show the system tray icon. Thank you.
I am getting this same behavior on most, if not all, of our 2k3 servers running Agent v4. Mostly through RDP some through mstsc /console. All the necessary services are still running.
