Can you provide more detail around how you're installing it? Manual, ePO client task, something else? And what logs are you looking at? The client logs should be in %TEMP%\McAfeeLogs for installations.

If I read your details correctly you are having issues installing ENS 10.5 on a Windows 7 machine in standalone mode. Could you confirm which version of Windows 7 you are running please - SP1?
As johnmoe points out - which logs are you viewing? Please could you check %TEMP%\McAfeeLogs for the user who initiaed the instalation?
