A couple months ago Microsoft announced they are ending support for EMET, citing the new security features in Windows 10. However, many organizations will still have Windows 7 for some time and may not be able to implement some of the specific security features of Windows 10.
I was curious what, if any, of EMET's protections are integrated into the exploit prevention features of Endpoint Security 10.5. Between the Access Protection Rules and the signatures, there must be pretty good coverage. However, I would like to know what is covered and whether anything requires specific action (such as enabling specific signatures). I have searched pretty thoroughly, including for references to Host Intrusion Prevention 8.x, but have been unable to turn up anything.
Thanks in advance!
