          Hi Ahmed,

           

          The .jpg file format does not appear to be scanned under malware policies.

           

          On page 506 of the IPS Administration Guide there is a list of scanned file types.

           

          "The file types to be scanned. The supported file types are:

          • Executables (.exe, .dll, .scr, .ocx, .sys, .com, .drv, .cpl)

          • Microsoft Office Files (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx. .ppt, .pptx)

          • PDF Files (.pdf, .xdp)

          • Compressed files (.zip, .rar)

          • Android application package (.apk)

          .apk files are not supported for SMTP traffic.

          • Java Archive (.jar)

          • Flash files (.flv)

          Flash files (.flv) are not supported for FTP traffic."
