I have run this update on our Central Manager yesterday which took around 30 minutes to complete on each server (2008r2) - however the Central Manager has a much smaller Db.
(Upgraded from 126.96.36.199.3 to 188.8.131.52)
We are currently upgrading a pair of NSM (not Central) with Db's around 100GB in size - I will follow up with info.
What size is the database?
Has it been tuned recently?
Is this a fresh install or are you upgrading? Which version are you upgrading from?
Thanks your help
This is a fresh install
As I do only want to test the new version, I do only assign 40 Gb for this server
Does your setup meet the minimum recommended requirements?
I see in the documentation ( pg. 14 ) that the recommended minimum is 100GB of disk space. If you do not have a Db with data, this might not be the issue.
Does your server specifications meet the required minimums?
Thanks your reply, we have test on other server with minimum recommended, but still have the same issue
BTW, I have test on a older version server 2008, which can Install 184.108.40.206 version
I am considering it is the ESXI issue or OS issue
We have held back on our upgrade due to some issues with v220.127.116.11 on our Central Manager.
I will update further once we have completed this and let you know if we run into the same issue as you did.
We've rolled back our Central Manager in the test zone, as we are testing a hotfix for an issue we encountered during upgrades from 8.2 to 8.3.
We're moving on to 18.104.22.168.1, then on to the maintenance release expected at the end of this month.
If I encounter a similar issue to you on these versions, I'll update this thread.
