Please try following these Guidelines\Instructions to get your issue assessed : What To Do When McAfee Detects Software As An Infection - How to Submit To McAfee Labs & Appeal
All the very Best,
Could you kindly inform us if your detection has been suppressed? Or do you require further assistance? Also after your submission, did you receive a Analysis ID #?
No the issue has not been addressed yet. I did not hear back from anybody
It seems that you need to resubmit your 12 digit Artemis! following those instructions carefully. It needs to be zipped and password protected, using the word infected After a (successful) submission, you will get a Analysis ID#.
If not resolved after 4-5 business days, I can then contact someone at McAfee Labs internally on your behalf. To escalate your issue on your behalf. Please try submitting again...
Please be informed that your case has been escalated on your behalf. However I need the (AnalysisID#) for them to Analyze\Suppress your Detection. Your Escalation Ticket Number is Ticket #: AM000702 - False Artemis!
Awaiting your response,
Like Cliff said in his last comment, we need the analysisID# in order for us to analyze the sample and suppress the detection. As of now, I am not seeing the sample being detected in the system - so please follow instructions carefully and re-submit.
Thank you DG
I have submitted the file to Mcafee Research. I will let you guys know as soon as I hear from them.
