Don't feel left out as we are also getting these pull errors. In fact today it was so bad that I decided to manually download the epo dat package.
This has been an on/off problem for several months now. Initially, I thought it was our network but my test EPO server, in a seperate Vlan, is also having the same issues.
Interesting. In the past I found that doing an FTP pull fixed the problem, this time not so. I schedule my HTTP pulls to be multiple times daily, the FTP pull is just scheduled once each day. If this has been ongoing for you have you ever had a response from McAfee?
No, I have never called McAfee about the issue. It does not happen every day, only maybe 3 times per week. Anyhow, I have set our EPO server to check McAfee every 15 minutes. However, yesterday it was real bad since the http pull task started failing at 10.30am CST and continued through lunch time.
Its been really bad for the last week, http constantly failing, ftp is working sporadically but 30 minutes to download that volume of data is pitifull.
Almost reached the level of me wading through support to complain
