I ran Virtual Tech. It finished and said fixed as well as 'Update trusted Microsoft Certificates'. I guess that's what the update button with the original notice was for. I clicked that and did restart. So far, no notice returning and Win Def is off.
Thanks Peter M for the quick response. Much appreciated. Anything else pop up I'll hollar.
That's great, can you mark this answered then?
Also keep in mind that in (Windows 10) Windows Defender is not compatible with McAfee/or any Anti-Virus Application. As unlike any OS before it's introduction contains Anti-Virus capabilities. Hence running (2) RTS Modules will cause conflicts and clashes.

For moderators, FYI :
Cross-linking this thread to the other thread where a user encountered the "Update trusted Microsoft certificates" message when running MVT. So this may refer specifically to files used by McAfee that need to be updated? In both cases the OS is Windows 10 (build not known).
Can I ask please whether this device upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 some time between September 2015 and January 2016?
