unable to connect to download ePO

    colemanj

I have previously installed ePO via URL on 30+ workstations.

One of the workstations was having an issue with the Firewall(common issue of not starting), and so I tried to reinstall over the top but when using the URL or logging on directly to the ePO admin to deploy the product it will not connect to any of the sources to download.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

          Is all the constraints satisfied?

          McAfee Smart Installer URL constraints:

          • The user must have admin rights on the local system to be able to install McAfee Agent using McAfee Smart Installer.
          • The McAfee Smart Installer URL is valid for 30 days.
          • For ePO 4.6.x (End Of Life), you can use the McAfee Smart Installer URL for up to 10 installations.

Else try to install in other ways.

Thank you for the response it is really appreciated.

The end users do not have admin rights but I have an account to install software.

The URL I created I thought was unique and can be used indefinitiely. There is no indication on the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Cloud site where I admin the policies and the workstation system tree that the URL would ever expire. (see screenshot of error)

I have licenses for 50 installations so this should not be an issue.
