There isn't an easy way but there is a way to report the drive model number into ePO. You can use the McAfee Agent custom props to report on any property that you require. From McAfee agent 5.0, this is covered in the MA Product Guide on page 42 (PD25187). You will need to script this in some why and use the wmic command to pull the drive model number:
wmic diskdrive get model
In your script you will want to first pull the model number, parse the info, and then inject it using command in the product guide:
FrmInst.exe /CustomProps1="Custom Property 1" /CustomProps2="Property 2" /CustomProps3="Property 3" /CustomProps4="Property 4"
You can then setup custom tagging rules to tag systems with supported OPAL drives listed in KB81136.
