I have a question about Endpoint Encryption for PCs (now Drive Encryption). FYI, we're at 7.0.1 but I imagine my question applies to other versions as well.
We've noticed that occasionally, when an encrypted Windows 7 PC is restarted, it goes into Windows Recovery mode. The workaround is to boot the device using the EETech boot disk, and decrypt the drive. Once the drive is decrypted, the PC boots fine and then it can be re-encrypted again.
My question is: besides the workaround described above are there any other workarounds to this issue that doesn't involve decrypting the whole drive because it's very time consuming.
Thanks in advance.
