I have McAfee VirusScan Enterprise ver. 8.8 installed on my home computers. They are not on a network, but they do share wi-fi with each other.
One computer has not been used regularly and when I have attempted to autoupdate the virus definitions at the time designated in my daily schedule, or manually update the virus definitions, the VirusScan console states "Running..." in the Status column and never changes to "Complete".
I have rebooted my computer several times and ensured that my Windows 7 updates are all up to date. I did not plan to update to Windows 10 on this particular computer...has McAfee discontinued support to Windows 7 operating systems or is there another potential issue?
