Are you using ie 6 or ie 7?
thanks for the quick reply. Had happened on both.
The machine next to me is IE6 though which is slow.
Using ie7 with the latest java version i find it pretty good, it kinda sucked under 6 though.
Also worth checking the DNS, try it using the IP rather than the server name to see if this makes a difference
thanks again. Just updated to the latest version of Java and tried using IP Address and same issue.
Rather not upgrade to IE7 at this point .....
well if its the only way to test wether it works then its worth testing, you can always roll back (assuming you make sure to fit the criteria for ie rollback)
having the same problem with epo 4 when just editing policies etc. and started a new post before reading this oops!!!!
tried ie6, ie7, all patched. tried different workstations, latest java, .net framework, etc etc
no joy. still sits at 50% (this is in fact 100% since its only hitting one proc) plenty of memory free
ePO 4.0 does not use client side java so there is no use in updating this.
How much memory does your epo server has and whats your epo patch version ?
And have you added the ePO server to IE´s trusted sites and lowered the security settings to "Low" ?
did this ever get resolved? I am having the same issue on a server of mine and finding it hard to administer especially as i am having problems syncing to an upstream epo 3.6.1 server.
i just installed epo4 into our test domain. Running IE6 and experiencing the same problem. Very slow loading/clicking between screens.
investigating why - but some direction would help if someone has come across this one before :)
Installed on the following:
Windows server 2003 SP2
