    Help with Upgrading to ePo 5.3.1 when a Local Proxy is involved

      Hi All, first time posting so be gentle.

       

      I am trying to update from 5.1.1 to 5.3.1 and it is failing at the compatibility check section. I am getting the below error in the log. So far though online searches managed to find out that this is failing because i have a local proxy server which is getting in the way of the ePo server resolving itself (at least that is must current thinking). I have confirmed i can browse the requested URL via browser and know the page and credentials are valid. I have also use "netsh winhttp set proxy" command  to set the proxy but still the same error Has anyone else experienced this behaviour if so how do i get the ePo install to be able to access local pages. Please not below the server name in the errors below is not a FQDN name, its just the server name.

      Message was edited by: Paul Carter So speaking with Support, they did not know what was causing the issue. But we changed from the original Admin account to another admin account (so same permissions) and not i can get past the comparability check. Support does not know why one account worked and another did not.
