Can you expand on this please by explaining the following:
1. Did you first remove any other security software?
2. What is your operating system and is it up to date in all aspects?
3. What is the full name of the software you are installing?
4. Have you tried rebooting and then another browser?
Removed Norton windows 7 yes it is up to date McAfee antivirus plus I have rebooted but not another browser
OK thanks. The only thing I can think of is to run the Norton Removal Tool Download and run Norton Removal Tool
Uninstall all McAfee products.
Run the MCPR cleanup tool. and reboot.
Reinstall McAfee from your online account.
If the problem persists, Contact Support (Technical Support), it's free of charge and if at first it can't be fixed, you can ask them to escalate the case.
