What is Nitro utilizing for sending mail?

I am trying to locate what program Nitro is utilizing for sending emails and how it is called. At this time it appears that it is utilizing some derivative of sendmail, and the process is being called through cpserviced.

If this is accurate, can sendmail be called via the CLI, or only through cpserviced, also, as a follow up, is there a way to directly invoke sendmail via cpserviced?

I am attempting to collect different device statistics from the back end such as device inactivity, disk space consumption, thirdparty.logs size, elm.logs size, and other pieces of information which I was able to collect, but I would like to push this data from the SIEM to an e-mail where analysts will review the data for any emerging issues with managing the SIEM.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
