    Citrix and Agent

We were using the agent 4.8 on out Citrix (XenApp) desktops recently.  The desktops are built from a main image and pushed out, usually before pushing out the image we have to make sure we remove some areas of the registry so the Citrix servers are seen as unique in ePo, but since the upgrade to this is not the case anymore.

      Normally we had to:

Stop the McAfee Framework service (but leave on Automatic start up) and delete the AgentGUID registry value: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Agent\

      • Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Agent\AgentGUID
      • Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Agent\MACADDRESS

      now in these don't exist.

These servers never update unless I go on to the ePo server and run 'update now'.  Maybe there is a way to schedule this update or another fix you can think of?
