    Pull report with API

      Hello All,

I was wondering if it is possible to pull a report through the API.

For example, I created a report to pull "collection rate per second" every hour.

It creates the file and I can down load it through the Web GUI.

Can I download that same report using the API?

      Thanks!

I don't see anything in the API that would support that but then again, I don't think there isn't anything that you could do with the API that couldn't be done via scp.

Report options allow you to save the file locally or to a remote location via NFS/CIFS/SCP/FTP. If you save it locally, you could scp it off the ESM. It gets saved to /usr/local/ess/reports. The more preferable option would be to have the ESM copy the report to a different box where you could interact with it. Helps to maintain separation of operations.

            Thanks Andy,

You are correct, I could use pull via scp. However, one requirement I am trying to meet is to pull "useful" data through the API.

If pulling the report through the API is not an option is there a way to reverse engineer the report to use as a query?
