Have you tried Logging into your account/and activating the key? Re: Re: TrueKey premium for McAfee Internet Security I might add that after you have successfully 'Logged In' to 'Log Out' to activate your key.
In addition, Right Clicking on your McAfee Icon/Verify Subscription additionally helps.
Or you can contact Technical Support; https ://truekey.mcafee.com/webcenter/portal/cp/home
All the best,
That's the problem. I downloaded it, started it, but the getting started button doesn't respond.
I don't know what else I can do. I've looked at every inch of my profile.
To be honest with you, since I do not use the Feature. I cannot delve any further into it. I can recommend running the Latest McAfee Virtual Technician http://mvt.mcafee.com to see if it finds any issues. It may require a 'Restart' to complete.
Or you can easily contact Technical Support 24/7 via Phone/Online Chat being much quicker. There has been some discussions on this feature. During the interim one may pick up this thread and add to the discussion. You can access Support through either of those links I inserted.
One More thought, Have you upgraded to 'Premium' Unlimited Logins ? There is no additional costs.
All the Best,
Regret the inconvenience caused. Please try configuring in a different windows account and see if it helps. You may also open a Service Request with Tech Support and see if they are able to resolve.
I am having the same problem:
- Couldn't login under Win 8..."something went wrong"...WTF?
- Eventually able to login under Android.
- Eventually logged in under Windows 8, then I got a blank pop-up window.
This feels like a beta product. How could Intel let a product like this go GA?
Thanks for the hot tip. Did it occur to you that perhaps my first course of action was, in fact, to contact support...?
a) This class of product, or any class of product, for that matter, shouldn't require tech support just to create a profile. It's a mass market product and should be bullet-proof.
b) TK's tech support is offshore and rather lacking...
c) If you have nothing more original to offer than to refer me to a previous post to contact tech support, maybe skip the hot tip...
There is nothing new in this product, per their tech white paper, than one cannot obtain from most other leading PW managers, except perhaps for the face scan feature. If it's this painful to create a profile, then I stand by my previous comment that Intel release their product prematurely.
I've deleted it and I'm now evaluating alternatives.
I hear you. I'm only a volunteer and a customer here so understand your concern.
