Please post the summary information from the notification rule you are trying to get to work (c+p is best as I cant see photobucket stuff)
Thanks for your reply. I restarted the server and all notifications are working.
I have another questions, however, if you (or anyone) is willing:
Is there a way to exclude files/folders from the VirusScan Access Protection rule which prevents Outlook from launching anything from the Temp folder? I have a bunch of folks running the following C:\DOCUME~1\<user>\LOCALS~1\Temp\IadHide5.dll and the notifications are filling my Inbox.
you could remove the outlook.exe from the processes to include and add it into the processes to exclude on this rule..
but do you really want to?? might open you up to a lot.
I wouldnt bother to make a notification rule on something like this anyway as 99.999999% of the time it will be rubbish and the other bit will have shown up as malware with the OAS anyway.
Thanks again for your help. I was leaning toward doing that anyway.
Another question if you don't mind: My compliance summary report indicates most of my clients are not compliant. The reason is the dat version is being reported as 4.0.5266 instead of 5266.0000. There are a number of clients whose data versions report as 5266.0000 but they don't appear to be significantly different that the others.
Petewall do you not have the 5200 engine checked in?
