This is my first time managing EPO (we're using v4 patch 1) and I don't quite understand the deployment task.
I've setup one to deploy McAfee AV 8.5 via the McAfee agent. Where my confusion lies is in how this is triggered. I don't understand how the "Every policy enforcement" option ties into the schedule. What is the flow of this task?
As I understand it currently it should run something like this:
Task created on EPO Client agent checks in with server, sees task and adds it to policy list Client agent enforces policy and sees product is missing Client agent contacts repository and installs product
However, that then makes me wonder the purpose of the schedule in this instance. Does it become irrelevant, or am I misunderstanding how this process would work?
