I have 70 PC's which got patch 7 this morning. The users are now complaining that they can't logon anymore.
After reboot , screen goes black
After logon , screen goes blank . only the pointer is visible but no desktop.
I tried to uninstall VSE88 P7 and reinstall VSE88 P6 but the problem remains. The only thing I can do now is just remove VSE88 so they can at least work
Has anyone here encountered such a problem ?
we had the same Problem on some Clients with Patch6. I thought it was caused by a windows update.
No, it's caused by the underlying shared technology VSE is dependent on. So, you can experience the issue with older patch levels of VSE (not just with Patch 7) because the underlying technology got upgraded, such as upgrading to MA 18.104.22.1683 or HIP 8 Patch 7.
yes we upgraded the Agent to 22.214.171.1243.
Patch 7 is still in our test environment and not installed on the affected clients.
I had the same problem. After resolve that, some machines are freezing some applications like web browsers, libreoffice and others. The shutdown and reboot process takes soo much time.
The instalation of vse 8.8.1528 and patch 7 are very slow.
