Check your system clock for accuracy.
It's possible that the software has updated and requires a reboot to function properly, have you tried that?
Try it and then run the Virtual Technician to see if it can find and fix any issues. http://mvt.mcafee.com/
If that fails to help, uninstall all McAfee components via Control Panel > Programs and Features
Reboot if asked to.
Then run the MCPR cleanup tool and reboot.
Reinstall from your online account.
That should correct any problems.
What action was it that fixed it?
Thanks Ex_Brit! I had to resort to the MCPR cleanup tool (had to run it twice) and after reinstalling from my online account it now works again.
