    Problem with Scheduled Deployment

      Problem:

      Epo Server 3.6.1
      CMA 3.6.0

      - Active Directory Discovery Task running correctly
      - Automatic Agent Deployment Task runningbut bringing the following error:

          {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} Means blank in EPO (ie a blank entry with no data), are you sure that the EPO server can correctly resolve the address of this machine?

            I had the same impresion but I realized all the following checks:

            - File and Print Sharing is enabled
            - Server service is started
            - Remote Registry service is started
            - Maschine is in domain
            - NetBIOS is enabled
            - Admin$ share is shared out.

            and all were sucesful.
            I see there is some problem with the conectivity but I look for ideas about where/waht can I still check.

                Do you have multiple NIC on the server? If so, have you modified the server.ini file?

                  I've only one NIC, what's about server.ini? btw: server is an vmserver....

                    not sure if you already have this, but open the Server.ini file, default location : C:\Program Files\McAfee\ePO\3.6.0\DB
                    Then add the following line at the end of the file
                    ServerIPAddress=xxx.xxx.xxx.xx

                    Save and close the file.
                    Restart all of the ePolicy services.

                    See if this helps.

                        Are you pinging from the eposerver or a PC on the same segment as the target client PC ?

                          I am pinging from antivirus server to clients.

                          there are no firewall between pc and server and both are in the same segment.

                          each targed client are installed with windows xp

                          I don't know, what I can do.....
