2. Sometimes the macmnsvc is causing an error: Couldn't get out of state STOP PENDING after 60 tries and the installation fails due to the unstoppable service.
Yeah. After a deeper inspection, I got the resolution by myself.
Following steps to solve the problem:
- get the PID: sc \\machine queryex macmnsvc status
- kill the service: taskkill /s <machine> /F /PID <PID>
- delete (or rename) the agent folder: %ProgammData%\McAfee\Agent (or %ProgammData%\McAfee\Common Framework)
- Push the Agent again.
Problem 1. is still unsolved.
On upgrade, the agent installs to existing directory. On new installs, it goes to the agent directory. Does that correlate to your situation ?
No, it seems to be just an IE11 issue. Cache or whatever.
No big thing.
