I'm writting a script that will tune up all of my workstation on the network, by mean, look the status of all services, Dat and engine update, epo agent version and so on. One of the thing I would like to check is the last ASCI to the server. Throught, I could read the log file and figure out the date on the last line. but there is a field in the Agent.INI file named LastASCI that get updated everytime we connect to the server. Anybody know how it works and how to read it properly. I thought it was seconds elapsed since ??? but it doesn't make sense when you calculate it. Maybe /1000th of seconds, but I doubt it.
ASCI communications are logged in the agent_machinename.log Additionally, the dat version IS NOT listed in a registry key, so be careful with that if you're looking for accurate reporting from that aspect. The "EXACT" dat version is not written in any files, per se, and is generated by the CMA polling VSE.
