Configuring DPSSP for smart card authentication

    mblower

We would like to implement the Data Protection Self Service Portal (DPSSP), but our users do not use a username/password to log in to Active Directory.  They use a smart card and PIN.  Is there any way to configure the DPSSP to use smart card authentication?  Or, can it be configured to just pass-through their existing Windows credentials?  For example, on some of our applications, to log in they can just check a box "use Windows session credentials" and then just click Login.

In case it matters, our users all have DOD-issued Common Access Cards (CAC).

      Thank you.
