the easiest way is to remove the Forwarding Rules at the HA-Master. After removing, no traffic should be sent to the other node any more. It also works if you change the proxy mode from HA-Mode to explicit proxy mode. With the second option some clients perhaps have to refresh theire browser.
If there is no traffic on the second node you can configure the appliance as you wish.
Remove the second node from the Central Management. Now you can also reinstall the system, this does not mather.....
At the other location configure your appliance as needed. After network configuration add the system to the central management again. Now the whole policy is available, but still no client requests.
Switch from Proxy Mode to HA Mode and reboot the system. After reboot add the forwarding rules again.
Normaly this should work with any interuption.
I'm affraid we don't have a Forwarding Rules, since the VIP decide what to do.
But the first step is to remove from central management, then remove the appliance object?
Which load balancing functionality or load balancing device is in place?

Hey guys, we have here a cluster of 2 appliances webgateway, they are using central management.
we need to transform this cluster in two differents proxies, since we will need to remove one appliance and send to another location.
What is the best way to do that?
Hi Rafael, by cluster do you just mean that when you log into any of the 3 appliances, you see all 3 appliances in the config and troubleshooting tabs, and they're sharing policy?
If that's all you have (that's the way one of the clusters I have runs without any HA complications), it's a simple right click Delete from the config tab under the Appliances tree when you have the device you want remove selected. It'll retain whatever config it's got in my experience.
It used to be (or still is) a recommendation to remove things from clustered policy management during upgrades of the appliances, so it's something most admins perhaps have been through. Re-adding them in quite easy too.
