Do you fail with manual backup?
Do you formed a redundant configuration?
Backup fails and if down redundant ESM.
1. Uncheck Autobackup
2. Click apply
3. Log out
4. log back in
5. Resycn system clock and verify NTP
6. Re-check the auto backup
7. Click apply
Ya-ya-...Doesn't make sense, but this gives it a kick start. Trust me.
I tried but it did not solve
I just ran into a simialar issue, for which I triesd these steps. My issues turned out to requie a cprestart recommended by support. A cprestart might take a day or so.
Steps to quickly triage...
Backups were correctly configured
connection to share was good (vlaidating account, passsword, and path
traces taken when kicking off backup showed no activity to share or processes starting
no backup logs available
