    ePO agent call back

      I am currently setting up a new ePO environment from scratch for the first time

       

      How do I configure the agent on the endpoint to have a specific call back address (to contact the ePO server on) - for example, I want to specify DNS name and not the IP address. The reason for this is disaster recovery testing will be carried out and if it is done by IP address and this changes during the testing, then the server will not be able to be contacted by the endpoint.

          DNS and IP from ePO are included automatically in the sitelist.xml.

          So when deploying agents from your ePO the clients will already have these two information.

           

          Besides that you can go to the "Agent Handler" Section and click you ePO-server and set published IP and DNS.
