Best to contact Technical Support as this is a new product and we Moderators aren't familiar with it.
Plus the N. American offices are closed for a long weekend holiday.
I added a link which was incorrect, I apologise, now corrected.
I forgot to add that should the first tier of support fail to help adequately you can ask them to escalate to a higher tier.
it is still the wrong link.
I am talking about iOS
btw: the app links to this forum, so I do not understand why you are saying this is the wrong place for support. The app asks to leave feedback here, so I do. Sending me away and telling me you are not familiar with the product even though the forum is called "Intel Security Safe Family > Diskussionen" is really a bad user experience!
If you read the actual thread you'll see I removed to original link I posted as it was for Android, hence my apology.
I suggested support because all the North American staff who would normally post here wont be in until Tuesday as it's a holiday weekend.
We mods are not familiar with all consumer products we do not all have PCs or apple or android devices to test everything on and are volunteer users helping out here. This is a new product and there is a support engineer answering in the threads above so best to await his arrival or try the support call.
Sorry you feel you have had a bad experience
to uninstall on iOS requires uninstalling from two areas:
1.) deleting the Safe Family app - press and hold the icon until it's wiggling, then click on the "x" to delete the app. this stops the app from reporting it's location
2.) to remove the mobile device management configuration from your device, you will need to go to iOS Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management -> Safe Family MDM Profile -> Remove Management
this may require you to enter your device passcode if you have one set. once you remove this, then all of the hidden apps should reappear again and Safe Family will no longer be enforcing any rules on your iOS devices any more.
Just curious, do you have other devices in your household in addition to iOS, or just iOS devices that your kids use?
