I recently enabled the inbound Content Group filtering for Credit Cards in our Email Protection policy. I've conducted testing with the some test CC numbers for the filter policy with the following four email tests:
1. CC data as text in message body - blocked
2. CC data as text in an attachment as .txt file - blocked
3. CC data as text in an attachment as .csv file - allowed
4. CC data as text in an attachment as .xlxs file - allowed
We have a need to ensure that we reject inbound messages which include any clear-text credit card numbers. How can we get the Content Group filtering to be effective for attachments, including .xlxs and .csv files?
