- System requirements for OSS can be found on the product documentation available here: https://kb.mcafee.com/resources/sites/MCAFEE/content/live/PRODUCT_DOCUMENTATION/ 25000/PD25847/en_US/mvmp_360_product_gui… page 15 and 16.
- You can deploy as many OSS as you like, however, it's recommended to have a minimum of 2 OSS per hypervisor. SVA Manager can help you to assign each client automatically to an OSS for large environnement.
It seems to me that there is no limit of MOVE client per OSS server, the design must be based on the number of VM per hypervisor and the number of I/O disk knowing that MOVE has a caching system so usually the 2 servers OSS by hypervisors are largely sufficient.
The SVA Manager will take care of assigning the clients based on the load.
Anyway of passing the local vm to the OSS to localize traffic?
You can configure which OSS to use per VM using the IP Assignment rules in the SVA Manager policy via ePO. This can be used to target VM's to use a given set of OSS within the same Geographic location, or even given CIDR.
If you would like some suggestions please ask.

I want to use the Nutanix Acroplois Hypervisor for 800 VM's. Just trying to keep network traffic local. Doesn't appear to be a way to do this in a dynamic enviroiment but don't think its a deal breaker.
