Mcshield & Tomcat consuming cpu when restarting EPO serv

We are testing EPO 3.6.1 with Service Pack 1.

I have noticed the EPO server become unresponsive for serveral minutes when when you restart the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Application Server service. Task Manager shows tomcat.exe and mcshield.exe as being the highest cpu processes. It appears to me that McAfee is scanning files that gets started with the Application server. If you disable the on-access scanner, I will see tomcat.exe be the only process consuming most of the cpu but it finally settles down after about 30 seconds.

Has anyone else seen this problem?
