Do the clients have proper permissions to the repository? i.e. Can you browse to the shared folder on one of the computers?

Please, can anyone help me about my repository which is not valid ?

and i see by default a repository is created in the repository tab list of the Epo agent configuration : ePO_SC1, and i notice my deployment works when computers are configured with that repository ePO_SC1, where can i find thse files?

and why it works with the repository by default and not with the one i have created with replicated files ?

              Thank you

I think most of your answers are in the product guide.

Try deleting and recreating the repository. That might help.

arjen is correct *all the answers are in the product guide* :o)

but for the rest of us, a section of the log file agent_computername.log showing an update task will answer most questions,

I don't say that all the answers are in the product guide, but what I am trying to say is that there is a lot of information available, so reading that could answer a lot of questions.

This forum is ment to ask questions and most of them will be answered or be pointed at a location where the answer can be found (KB, Product guide, Primesupport etc.).

So asking questions isn't wrong at all, but I don't want to quote the product guide too much. IMHO pointing to the guides can be enough for some questions.

Base on your answer to other .Assume your port is open as client able to map and read. Port 133 135.

Yup! believed you had sorted out the type of repository setup. hence the FW port must go along with it. UNC FTP URL.

Your server able to run update as it able to recieve update on the latest sitestate.xml. but not your client. Possible cause is that the FramePkg is providing the wrong info.

                      I have this problem before:-
You may try to remove the FramePkg in C:\program file\network assoicates\ePO\350\DB\Software\Current\EPOAgent3000\Install\0409

                      Suggest you move it out.

Once this FramePkg is out ..try to regenerate from ePO server. (You may need to stop/start the 3 ePO services).

This method never state in the manual (manual only tell good never state evil). I try it out all by myself.....we share the same woe hope it help you.

At the same time. This thread may help you. As I encounter from server fail till sitestat.xml invalid. All due to port change by itself....reason from nai is "unknown".

                        Hi!

unfortunately the link you provided is invalid!
I have the same issue on my Viruscan 8.5 with Epo 3.6,,,, since a day to other I'm getting "Error occured while downloading file sitestat.xml" on all my clients end servers.
the incredible thing is that nothing has changed on server configuration or on Firewall (disabled).
in the log I have an error in communicating with the Epo Server but I can ping and resolve it fine....maybe nai has changed communications ports by itself but also the .ini files have the correct port number.
is there any other file or setting I have to look for?
I attache the log,,,,,any help would be great!
