    core.worker.*lz4 files

      Hi,

One of my NGFWs send me an info - problem with free space in /spool directory. After short investigation I found four or five files > 500MB. All files in /spool/dump/user_space_core/(version.build)/sg_inspection path. All files name start core.worker.(version).*.lz4. Can I safely remove those files?.

      Regards,

      mcoy

          Hi,

these are coredumps created by the inspection process. Their presence indicates the process crashed on those occasions. The files can be removed safely, but if you are running an older version I'd recommend upgrade as there's a good chance whatever caused the crash has been fixed since. If you're running one of the latest releases and wish to know the root cause, you can open a support ticket and provide the core files to support.
