    mccpspservicehost.exe using cpu power

I recently noticed my computer was getting much more noisy and slower. I looked at the running processes in task manager and I noticed one process from McAfee was consistently using 25 % of my CPU power. The name of the process is mccpspservicehost.exe. Nothing else on the list looks out of the ordinary.

Is it normal that this process takes up so much cpu power? And what does it run. Can I stop it or is there any way to fix it.

I tried googling the issue but haven't found any solutions. I have McAfee Total Protection and I use a 3 years old HP PC with Windows 7.
