Moved to MAC Products for faster support
perhaps just reinstall it? My guess is "cleanmymac" was a little aggressive.
I have reinstalled 4 times. Just did again after a reboot of my Mac, modem and WiFi. Same problem.
It was not the update of Safari that caused PWB to become inoperable, since it worked for 2 weeks after my last update. I believe it was Intel that pulled the plug on the beta version that was working.
With the continued growth in the number of Macs vs the decline of sales of Windows PCs, why would Intel choose to not provide a PWB version that runs on Safari? I am disappointed because I saw the value of PWB and enjoyed using it. Maybe the next version will include Safari support.
What update to Safari? In your original post you claimed the problem started after you ran "CleanMyMac"?
I'm not sure what you mean by "I believe it was Intel that pulled the plug on the beta version that was working" - I don't really know where you got a "beta" version from, but the current shipping version supports Safari 7 - perhaps you're using an older version of Safari?
I think we need a little more clarity on your problem and what the current situation is. Perhaps start at the beginning and tell us exactly what product you're using and exactly what you did which caused it to stop working?
Like most Mac users, I keep my OS X and Safari updated. My Macbook Pro is a 2012 version running Yosemite 10.10.13 and Safari 8.0.6 which was updated on May 12th. The issue with PWB started on May 27 after deleting cookies and running CleanMyMac, so Safari is not to blame.
I have downloaded the Mac version of PWB several times from the Intel site so it was the latest version. The issue with beta and lack of support for Safari was derived from an Intel support email I received today. I have deleted PWB.
ok, I am guessing your problem is solved then. I am still not understanding what or where "beta" software came from though. good luck!
