    SHOW SYSTEM STATUS

    gldnju

To see the Agent Monitor, you can use the command (c:/program files/mcafee/common framework) CMDagent.exe /S

Is there a command to see the Drive Encryption status if the Mcafee icon doesn't show in the task bar?  This is a Windows 7 laptop that is encrypted with MDE 7.1.1 (stand alone).

There is no way to launch the Drive Encryption status monitor any other way than via the McAfee Agent Tray Icon.

However, the system status can be seen in the registry:

          HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\McAfee EndPoint Encryption\MfeEpePc\Status

          or

          HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\McAfee EndPoint Encryption\MfeEpeOpal\Status

The policy enforcement status can be seen by using the status switch against MfeEpeHost.exe which is located in:

          C:\Program Files\McAfee\Endpoint Encryption Agent

          MfeEpeHost.exe -status

So there's is no way to read the Volume Status information from the McAfee Drive Encryption System Status?

I've created a small prompt, that displays at CTRL+ALT+Delete screen, which displays the MDE encryption status and a custom prop by querying the registry but I would like to add the progress percentage along. Is it possible to retrieve this?
