We have 2 MEGs (7.6) and MQM (7.0.1). We want to introduce a 3rd MEG to run Secure Webmail on.
This all seems to work OK apart from one thing.
If a message gets blocked for some reason and sent to MQM when it is then released and goes back to the MEGs it doesnt get any policies applied and so ignores any possible policies that would send it to the secure web mail server. This could lead to potentially confidential messages going out unencrypted. Is there any way around this? The only way I can think of is to have another 2 MEGs running a different policy dealing just with encryption. This doesnt sound like a particularly good way of doing things so i was hoping someone had a better idea.
Unfortunately, at this time, I believe this is a limitation of the software. I would definitely say that a PER (McAfee KnowledgeBase - How to submit a Product Enhancement Request (PER)) should be submitted, possibly for both the MEG and the MQM.
