That looks familiar
Just needs a fancy cron job to say "if space looks like it is filling up "DELETE" "DELETE"
got one up your sleeve Jon?
Thats where it gets a little tricky....
What if your organization requires that you keep log files? And say MWG is failing to push them elsewhere, and therefore not deleting them...
I say the pushing problem should be fixed first.
If it's something like connection traces, rule tracing or some other debugging option I could see it being more viable to delete them without worry, however it would still require manual intervention (without extra unsupported wizardry) to disable the setting.
In the techtalk coming up next week, I will be discussing such problems and how to avoid them. My discussion will not discuss such automation, however it will discuss good options for being alerted with actionable next steps.
Can you send me the link to attend?
Thanks for the link but I Just missed it.
I was in my customer side when they were ruined their ssl scanner.
BTW, Would you please to send me the records if there is?
