Hopefully any easy one for somebody to answer, but I was wondering if a reboot of the host server is recommended after installing a ePO minor patch e.g. 4.6.8 -> 4.6.9. As I understand it is not enforced by the installer and the installation guide doesn't provide much guidance either way. My thought was that the reboot would clean-up in old processes that might still be lurking around in memory that in time might cause issues.
It wouldn't hurt to reboot it, I always have after performing upgrades. If the ePO server is down the only thing is you won't be able to connect to the console, otherwise the agents will just send all their events on their next ASC if they can't immediately connect to ePO while it's down.
