I am trying to create a tag rule based on location but I'm not sure if it can cover all situations or not (using Host DLP, not NDLP).
Let's suppose I want to tag any file inside the UNC path \\server\tagged_folder , this works fine and each file inside this path is tagged. Now the problem is that if a computer has this UNC path mapped to a device (for example E:) then the files are not tagged anymore because it does not match the tagging rule.
I haven't been able to find a workaround for this as the location-based tag con only be done through UNC patch and not mapped drives.
Has anyone had this problem? Is there a way to cover both cases?
