As for SSD: you will be receive a multiple DLP events from same SSD device. If you do it right, then the card readers will be blocked and will give at least a few events.
Write Will you do it?
Thanks for the instruction. I am going to try it now and will report back.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I believe I have identified the problem.
Good day. Would like to ask what was the solution for the issues you have encountered? Currently I have several Dell E7240 which has issues with DLP, once we enable the SD Card blocking, the SSD of the machines also gets affected.
Thanks in advance.
As I recall, I located the device ID in unmanaged devices and was able to change it to a managed device and did a blanket allow. I believe I did this with the assistance of McAfee support. I have since upgraded our endpoints to DLP 9.4 where this issue does not exist.
I apologize for not being more specific but I no longer have the policy manager for DLP 9.3 installed so I can't go back and trace my steps.
Thank you Bluefish. Would look into it. Regards!
