Sorry, what you ask is not possible.
There isn't a way to boot through preboot and then boot to a CD.
However, if you can use a WinPE disk for this, you can build a DETech WinPE and perform these actions. You will not boot through preboot but rather authorize and authenticate using the DETech exe. This will load the key into the driver and allow access to the systems hard disk.
More information about building a DETech WinPE disk can be found in the DETech Guide or EETech Guide. Please note, the correct version should be utilized for the version of MDE / EEPC installed on the client machine.
Thanks I was trying to investigate a potential Virus incident and wanted to image the disk before the OS started,
The really only option then is to decrypt the drive, image it ...then re-encrypt
I thought I might be able to interrupt the boot process after signing into the EE menu, as I'm thinking what with users with a dual boot setup or again is this not possible.
