To really determine if your Agent is trying to make the machine a SA is to locally check the Agent.ini file within C:\ProgramData\McAfee\Common Framework
- McAfee Agent is going to make it a SA & repository
- Not a SA or repository
Otherwise you should be able to follow this if the machines still exist within ePO: https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB55654&actp=LIST
Check those machine McAfee Agent > General policy. And remove that policy and assign your ePO normal general policy. In next agent to server communication those repositories will automatically remove from Distributed repositories tab.
Looks similar to KB83192. Please verify the symptoms if it matches as per KB.
This is a known issue since epo 5.1.1 and fixed in ePO 5.1.2
Nope, its not. Request was how to remove repository from distributed repository tab. As for UNC delete option is there but for SA it is not.
In addition to the recommendations given from fitchsoccer342, ansarias and hem, please also check if you have a Policy Assignment Rule in place for any systems in a group, a particular user/group, or for a certain tag.
You can also look at each system listed as a SADR and select Actions > Directory Management > view assigned policies to see what is on each based on group or rule assignment.
You will not have *delete* option for SA repository. It will be removed when you convert agent from *Super agent* to normal.
This seems indeed an issue that's described in KB83192.
I have only 1 Agent General Default Policy, besides the McAfee premade Policy, and it does not have, and has never had, "Convert agents to SuperAgents" checked.
It's annoying, but nothing disastrous. I'll wait for the 5.1.2 release. Thanks all.
